Getting sick is never fun. I experienced a lingering one week lull of having a congested nose and throat. It dragged on where I was tired but not sick enough to justify staying home. I just resumed basic activities through the week at a slower pace.
What natural remedies do you have? And do they actually work other than temporarily making you feel better for a just an hour?
I ate/drank daily orange juice, turmeric, ginger, honey, lemon, apple juice and chicken broth. None if it seemed to make a difference. I wonder if these natural remedies really do work or not?
One thing I will suggest about getting sick and traveling alone... make sure you let someone, like your hotel or a family member/friend who can get in touch with your hotel in case you need further assistance.
